Missing Daddy

I took yesterday off from writing because I just didn't feel up to it. Daddy wasn't home and mommy had to go and work in her classroom, she is changing grades and moving classrooms. It was another lonely day that I had to occupy myself with. Mommy gave me my Kong when she left. A while later I found my blue squishy ball with a treat in it, but it didn't stop the loneliness and boredom. I occupied myself for part of the time by getting into the kitchen garbage and exploring that.

When mommy came home she had a surprise, she had Nana with her. Nana gave me lots of love and that helped a little. Both Mommy and Nana took me for my walk, which was a nice treat.

I think that Mommy is missing daddy too, because she let me sleep on the big bed with her. So I slept where daddy normally sleeps and dreamed that he was there rubbing my belly. I hope that he comes home soon!
